A new Admiral for the RACYC
We are delighted to announce that Brig Alex Potts KRH has taken over as Admiral of the Club. A keen sailor, Brig Alex also owns his own yacht Corncockle, which he keeps in Gosport alongside White Knight 7 and the other Corps yachts. We look forward to seeing both of them on the water and enjoying his support and guidance.
We also thank Gen Adrian Bradshaw for his service as the previous Admiral and wish him all the best for his continuing role at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
WK7 back in the water for 2022
27 April saw White Knight 7 back in the water as her winter maint was completed and she was re-launched. She has had her anti-foul renewed and some work on the rigging following a rig assessment. The two secondary winches on the coach house have been replaced. Added to a general sprucing up and overhaul and she is in fine shape for the start of the season! Well done to Matt the bosun for his hard work - no volunteers to help this year thanks to COVID.!
