Membership of the RACYC offers a number of benefits including subsidised/free training, cheap sailing on a fine yacht (either at charter rates or as an individual) and opportunities for learning and practising racing skills - all within the environment of like minded souls. Members with their own boats are entitled to fly the Club blue de-faced ensign; if they wish to do so they should notify the Secretary who will arrange the paperwork.

All serving RAC Officers and Soldiers are defacto members; membership is provided through Regimental subscriptions.

The Annual Membership rate for non RAC and retired members is currently £15 per annum, payable by cheque for the first/remainder of the year, followed by a standing order payable on 1st January.

Life Membership is secured by a cheque for £150.
